This website is for sharing Selkirk College’s GIS student project work, discussions, topics of greatest interest, super good times and other tiny titbits on what we do in our GIS labs.

The website itself is an evolving piece of work coming from a GIS course, called New Media, or GIS 321.

A focus is on current student interactions and productions coming from both our Advanced Diploma in GIS and our Bachelor of GIS programs. Since we also teach GIS courses within other Environment and Geomatics programs here at the college, you may find GIS related stuff from those areas too.

Interested in knowing more about what you will be learning and producing while taking the BGIS or ADGIS program at Selkirk?  Check out the student showcase or the GIS Alumni Showcase.

And finally, if you want to learn more about official GIS program details, GIS courses and fees, best to check Selkirk College’s website.

Who’s writing this stuff?  You can read a little about the gal behind the scenes.
